Meet the Owner

As the exclusive caterer at 490 Riverside, Pasha Events opened in the summer of 2009. Though a young company, its owner Gieto Nicaj is no stranger to the hospitality industry with over 25 years of experience.

Beginning his career at the world famous Plaza Hotel, he later moved on to Director of Banquets at the Regency Hotel, followed by years of experience at the Waldorf Astoria.

Some of his most notable events to date include The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony, The NASCAR Awards Gala, The Breast Cancer Research Foundation Annual Gala with Elton John, The American Heart Association Dinner, The Lance Armstrong Foundation Dinner,The Michael J. Fox Foundation Gala, HBO Event, Outward Bound Event, ING New York City Marathon, The Heisman Trophy Dinner & The Fox Hispanic Media Event.

Mr. Nicaj continually pours painstaking attention to detail in organizing and presenting some of the most memorable events.
